Dr Sami Almusawa

Dr Sami Almusawa, a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), London, graduated in 2003 and has been practising in the UK since 2006. He initially specialised in general obstetrics and gynaecology before dedicating his career exclusively to infertility treatment. He received the Highly Commended Award for Best Fertility Doctor in the Fertility Care Awards 2025.

In 2010, Dr Almusawa joined IVF Hammersmith, where he gained extensive experience in reproductive medicine. He then spent 10 years at ARGC (The Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Centre) - the UK clinic with the highest success rates - working alongside Mr Mohamed Taranissi, one of the world’s most renowned IVF specialists.

Dr. Almusawa's clinical expertise lies in managing complex cases, including recurrent miscarriage/implantation failure, male infertility, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

As the Medical Director of Plan Your Baby, Dr Almusawa is dedicated to transforming fertility care by making it more accessible and convenient. Through Plan Your Baby, he offers expert remote consultations, blood tests, and ultrasound scans at over 350 locations across the UK, reducing the need for lengthy travel and minimising patient costs.
