Valerie Shaikly & Karen Sage

Valerie Shaikly, PhD, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and a registered Consultant Clinical Scientist. Together with Karen Sage, MSc, a Genetic Counsellor, she co-founded Fertility Genetics, a specialist service providing independent genetic counselling and support.

With a combined experience of over 50 years in fertility, genetics, and IVF, they offer personalised, accurate guidance to help individuals and couples understand genetic testing options and fertility pathways.

Their independent approach, free from affiliation with specific laboratories or external investors, ensures unbiased advice tailored to each patient’s needs, whether pursuing natural conception or IVF.
