Vivian Montero
Senior Fertility Nurse
Vivian has over a decade of experience in assisted reproduction across Central America and the Caribbean, including leadership roles in IVF nursing and operating room coordination.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Costa Rica and has played a key role in IVF services since 2012, including being part of the team that enabled the first private IVF treatments in Costa Rica following the lifting of the national ban in 2016.
Her career includes senior leadership roles at leading fertility clinics, most recently as Lead Nurse at the Trinidad & Tobago branch of the Barbados Fertility Centre. Vivian is ASRM-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nursing and holds multiple international certifications in assisted reproduction, leadership, and clinical practice. She joined Plan Your Baby in November 2024, bringing extensive clinical expertise and international experience to patient care.

- BSc in Nursing (University of Costa Rica)
- ASRM Certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nurse
- Member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the European Fertility Society
- Certified in laparoscopic instrumentation and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Qualification in Assisted Reproduction support (REDLARA) and leadership training (Women Lead, INCAE) with ongoing MBA studies
